Soprano ICE Laser Hair Removal

How does the laser work?

The laser light is a specific wavelength of highly concentrated light passes through the surface of the skin which is then absorbed by the melanin in the growth bulb of the hair. The pigment in the follicle absorbs the laser energy and converted into heat, which damages the hair follicle without harming the surrounding tissue.

How many laser hair removal treatments are required?

All patients are required series of multiple treatments. Hair can only be permanently reduced in the active (Anagen) phase.

Typically 25-30% of hairs get reduced by each session. Hairs that survive will come back, usually thinner and weaker.

The treatment program takes several sessions to approach hairs with active phase of growth to maximize the effectiveness of permanently hair reduction.

Is laser hair removal safe? Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?

Laser methodologies have been proven by FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) to offer the permanent hair reduction.  There are also some factors that vary the results such as hormone levels, medications, even body size.
Some areas are more effectively treated and some colors of hair are more responsive to laser treatment. The darker and coarser hairs reduce at early sessions or the hairs that re-growth are finer and lighter in color.

What do I experience on my first laser hair removal session?
The treated area will become tender, slightly red and swollen within several minutes. This reaction is completely normal that means laser energy was enough for a safe and effective result. This reaction subsides within a few hours depends on how sensitive the skin is then you can return to your normal activities.  We’ll do test patch for some clients who have very sensitive skin.  We are able to treat the skin type 1 to skin type 5
